What is Solar Panel ?
This is a panel that is a combination of solar cells that convert light ( sunlight received from sun ) into Electricity . By using these solar panels , direct sunlight is converted in electricity . This conversion is only possible because of semiconductors , panels are made up of semiconducting material .

These panels works by absorbing sunlight with photo voltaic cells , producing DC ( direct current ) energy and then converting it into usable current i.e Alternating Current ( AC ) energy with technology called as inverter technology . Solar technology has also enhanced for renewable production of H i.e hydrogen as an alternative source of energy which is renewable . Copying the photosynthesis’s process , leaves are made artifical those silicon based devices that use energy to change water into hydrogen and oxygen that is splitting hydrogen and oxygen . Moreover , work is needed to enhance the efficiency and less cost of these devices for industrial uses .

Wind energy is also a from of solar energy . In this process wind is used to generate appropiate amount of electricity . Turbines convert the KE i.e kinetic energy in the wind to ME i.e mechanical energy . A generator , that converts mechanical energy into electricity . This power can be directly used for many purposes . Amount of electricity generated depends on three factors – Wind speed , Density of the air , Swept area of the turbine .
Wind speed – The speed of wind directly impacts the amount of energy made . Wind speed, it effects the electricity generated .Suppose if speed is doubled , energy generated will be eight times
Density of the air . The more dense the air , more electricity is produced by the turbines .
